I am looking to get married in a few days and would like to know the best place to buy a ring. A place that has the best cut, and price. Any help is great!

Price i’m not gonna lie, ebay. lol. it sounds tacky but they have great rings for cheap, through actual jewelers. its awesome, i got my fiances wedding ring for literally $20. Its perfect too. He got mine for $200, online from kristasjewelry.com

hope this helps.

I have a bachelors degree in biology and decided not to go to medical school. However, I have heard about physician’s assistant programs. How does a physician’s assistant compare to a regular doctor (training, requirements, cost, salary etc)? I want to know if this is something worth looking into.

The bureau of labor statistics will give you all the information worth looking into - such as training, employment outlook, salary, etc.

Are we as Americans losing those personal freedoms?

Despite the rant above I have lost no personal liberty. I would like one listed that I have lost. Too many people refer to the Declaration of Independence as a law or some God Given rights. It is neither. It is simply a letter written to King George by a bunch of rich landowners stating what they believe. They may hold those truths to be self-evident, but apparently no one else did.
THere has been very little ppersonalfreedom or liberty in the history of the world. How to treat your slaves is even listed in the Bible.
The Patriot Act has not inconvenienced me in any way. And I very seriously doubt it has anyone who has nothing to fear. Despite rants, raves and bleating of Sheep.

Just curious if anyone has access online or has the book for 2006 (I’ve not a clue if 2007 is out, prolly at the end of next year) to find out the info on what Consumer Reports say about the Mazda3 4door. Usually they give stuff like "it’s good for this, but only thing found wrong is this." That’s kinda what I’m looking for…besides it’s overall rating as everythings good or what needs work…all that good stuff. Can anyone help? Please be specific. Thanks! :) And acutually I doubt someone can find the info for the new 2007 Mazda3 but for the 2006…it would be nice to know.

The only thing bad thing that’s been brought up year after year about the Mazda 3 is the small trunk. I own one and fit four sets of golf clubs and a large backpack in mine with four passengers in the car. Don’t worry about the trunk and the only other downthing I can find compared to its competitor is that it doesn’t get quite as good MPG. However, it is soooo much more fun to drive that it’s worth it. See the following report from Edmunds.

i’m currently a pilot for American Airlines, i fly a boeing 757, and make $95,000 a year. how much does ups or fedex pay in comparison to this?

Although possibly not 100% current, check out the following website:
http://www.aviationinterviews.com/compare_pay_rates.php

It’s a pretty good website that has pay rates for most airlines.

I’ve been ruminating over a setup I’m putting together. Finally, I’ve found an amp that seems about perfect. Its a DLS classic CA31…it has three channels total, 2×65 RMS at 4ohms typical and 1×280 (mono) at 2ohms typical. I know for sure the sub I’m going to be running is rated at 300 watts RMS…I haven’t decided for sure on components, but the ones I’m looking at are either a bit under the rating (50 watts rms), a bit over (80 watts rms), or a lot over (150 watts RMS).

So, how close does the RMS rating of the speaker need to be to the RMS rating of the amplifier?
My main question is going under…IE: the speakers I’m really siding with are 80 RMS, whereas the amp is 65 RMS….the sub I have is 300 RMS, whereas the amp is 280 RMS…

The rms rating of the speaker can go over the amount of the amp by any number as long as the speakers getting the minimum amount of power required to operate and it will not be damaged BUT I wouldnt take the power of the amp above the rms of the speaker by more than 75% without expecting to shorten the life of the speaker.
The rms means that the device (amp or speaker) will put out or take that amount of power all day with no ill effects, the max on the other hand or anything respectivly close to it is only what the device will do for a short period of time before it fails

I was pondering the other day about what career I would like to take up when I get out of high school and realized that I do have an interest in the making of consumer electronics (Like mp3 players, and portable devices. Not so much computers). What kind of professions are there that would help in the making of this kind of stuff? Can someone give me a list of careers around this area and tell exactly what they do? Thanks in advanced for your answers.
I also would like to know what colleges would be good for this field and what courses in High School I should take. I know I’m just a freshman but I want to be prepared when I leave for a college.
Thanks for the answer marystoy_2000. I understand a little more about what i’m asking now. What if I wanted to design the housing of the product and how its organized?
Also, what would it be called if I wanted to be the Project Manager?

Based on your follow up, I think you are looking at prototype design. This involves a knowledge of mechanical engineering and materials science. The courses for this are science/math heavy. In high school, you should take chemistry, algebra, calculus and physics. As a side beneift, you may want to look at an art class (for creative design). For colleges, you can focus on these areas, plus also if your college has a design school

I know running burns more calories in the same amount of time, but if I just take up walking, how do the long-term health benefits compare? Is running more heart-healthy, or are they about the same? What are the pros and cons of each?

Some people develop knee/foot problems with running. Walking is all-round healthier ( less brutal to the body) . But that means brisk walking not leisure walking.

and most eveything? Only one I know of is Epinions.com. Someone here just indicated a site named "A|net" that has tons of reviews of almost everything. Can you clarify please the name of that website? Is that a typo? Thanks!!

Probably is CNet, I am not aware of ANet.
