What is the best way to remove scratches from iPod touch screen?

I’ve heard that Applesauce is the best but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions of what product is best?
By Applesauce, I meant the company and the brand of scratch remover, not the food.

    i wouldnt try the apple sauce.lol there is no way. just buy a screen protector to prevent future scratches
