Funny, i dont agree apple is in trouble w/ Android at all!! Cooperation is better than competition! Android might be the OS for you, an for others; iPhones, Windows, etc.. etc..! Personally i would go for iPhone. Android is too fiddly in my opinion. I want something that works for me.

Best thing is that you are not forced to use some apple (in this case google) online store to even use this app, it will be avaible for free most likely without “jailbreaking” a phone you paid money for and phone developers deciding which application will be allowed on their phones.
