How would you compare and contrast the three different types of thinking (Logical,Scientific, and Persuasive) and comment on how each affects the critical-thinking process.

There are not three types of thinking. I suggest you give that social science perspective a rest. The three types of thinking you mention are all under the " critical ", problem solving thinking paradigm.
