Thanks for this. The most interesting part for me is that I’ve never seen the version of part II where Marty says ‘a holes’ before. I figured it must exist, but it’s always been ‘jerks’ in any copy I’ve owned.

Ugh. You’re right. I guess I’m not as big a BTTF fan as I thought. I saw it in the theater in July ’85 and I guess all the years of watching the home video version has blurred the memory of the ending. I honestly had no idea that it was added for the VHS release. Do your worst…I deserve it.

Um. No. The “TO BE CONTINUED” you’re refering to wasn’t in the theatrical release, they added it to the home video version when they decided sequels would be made, which is why they removed it for the DVD release. I thought everybody knew that.
