What do you call the comparison that uses 4 sets of colons?

Hat : head :: shoe : foot
Read "Hat is to head as shoe is to foot." What do you call this comparison?
Is there not a more specific term? Analogies are used all the time in speech without following the format. Something like paired analogies or something?
