Have there been any journals or articles published on comparisons between five-element theory and chakras?

I am writing an essay on comparisons between Hinduism’s chakras and Traditional Chinese Medicine’s five-element theory. Have there been any published articles or research? Peer-reviewed is great but not necessary.

Obviously both of these theories have been disproved many years ago, so you won’t find anything in credible, peer-reviewed journals. However there are still a few disreputable ‘journals’ that exist that cover everything from alt med to psychics, ghosts etc, so you might find something there. Try google scholar, it’s not very scholarly but does include the more extreme ‘journals’ in its search.

not in any prestige journals you won’t – unless it’s about history of medicine or some-such thing. Did you bother to look in PubMed or were you expecting others to do your own research? PubMed is the place to start, but don’t hold out for any hope that it will support the notions, they were discredited years ago
