What are some comparisons and contrasts between the character Percy Jackson and Harry Potter?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians – Rick Riodran
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – J.K. Rowling

If you have read these books, please list as many comparisons and contrasts as you can between the characters Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.

Well for one thing, they both have green eyes and black hair. I can understand where you’re coming from. They are both of a prophecy, and seeing as that Harry’s Prophecy could have Applied to Neville Longbottom, its the same as Perseus Jackson’s prophecy, when it ended up applying to Luke and not Percy. The difference is that Harry’s Prophecy was right about it being Harry, and the Percy’s Prophecy was talking about Luke and not Percy. Does that make sense? THere’s also the fact that the trio is similar too. Two boys and one girl, Harry Ron and Hermione, Percy Grover and Annabeth, The difference is that Harry has a scar and Percy doesn’t. Percy lives in the land of gods, Harry doesn’t. Muggle is a name for non magical people, mortal is a name for a person who isn’t a demigod. And I think that’s it. I hope this helps :)
