Can a consumer report include my bank account information ? because my rental agency is going to be running a "consumer report" on me for apartment i’m trying to get but I lied to them about how much I make a yeah… will a consumer report get them the info they need to deny me that apartment?
I don’t think it differs from state to state, but you have to actually give them your bank account information and sign, allowing them access. Income verification is usually requested by the property manager. They would ask you to bring in 2 months worth of check stubs, and/or fax your employer (or give to you to give to them) an employment verification form, that may include your gross pay.

A consumer report will not include how much you make or the specific amounts of individual bank account transactions.
It may include some indication of whether you have overdrawn your account, either now or in the past.
Mostly, it consists of standard credit report stuff, such as collections, credit card balances, etc.
