I tried to open a Citibank checking account online and a week later I got a letter in the mail that said that they could open me an account because they could not verify my information on the consumer report. What does this mean?
Means you entered the wrong Social Security Number or some other information. Go into a bank and try it in person. If the error occurs again then ask them to show you what is causing the rejection
