When writing for Epinions.com, how do you make a word italic or bold?

I want to start writing reviews for Epinions.com, but I don’t know how to make a word or phrase italic or bold when on that site. There’s no button to press or anything. Can someone please help me?

you could try using html and see if that works… type this:

<b> your bold text here </b>
