Also, I have no problems believing some linebackers can mach his speed over 40 yards. 3 LBs this year ran 4.61 or better. Heck, Sidbury ran a 4.64 and hes a lineman! That doesn’t mean they can cut like TJ — They’re too big for that.

Incidentally, Jerry Rice ran a 4.60. He was slow, and he was the GOAT. They might be related actually — If you do well with blazing speed, you might not age well. Jerry never WAS fast, so becoming a little less fast didn’t hurt him. He still ran routes with precision and caught everything thrown his way.
