What are the benefits in volunteering for Nielsen Ratings?

I wanted to know what rewards, if any, you receive for volunteering for Nielsen Ratings. Also do you get cash for it?

If you get picked to fill out a ratings diary, you get a few dollars from Nielsen.

They also have a way to sign up for surveys and polls, in which you can get merchandise after filling out a number of them. Two different animals, though.
